Dragging and dropping emails or other things to folders on the IPAD2

Dragging and dropping emails is not supported on the iPad. As far as I'm aware, the only 'drag and drop' activity that is supported is when you're moving or creating folders on the Home screen. Emails have to be moved 'manually' by selecting the emails you want to move and then indicating the destination folder.

I can't find the icon for creating folders please help out. Am cracking I could manage most applications without guidance but creating folders is a puzzle to me my home screen is so full of apps it's irritating

Touch and hold an app until they all start to wiggle, then drag the relevant apps on top of each other, they will automatically create folders, when finished press the home button.........don't press the x's though otherwise you will delete the apps.

Thanks a lot to all who replied the tips worked and am very grateful I have been creating folders for the past half an hour and deleting free apps I realized add no value.

Kind regards to all this forum is so helpful and useful it certainly beats the essential IPAD tools and shortcuts whatever I aphid 0.99 USD for !!!!!
