DVD to iPad

Does anybody know of a free DVD to iPad software that doesn't just convert 5 minutes of it but the whole movie?

Handbrake. I use it for converting all my dvds. Works great for the iPad.

Correct, Handbrake does not handle DVD encryption. Which means most commercial DVDs.

You have to rip with another app that can do those and use Handbrake for the conversion. I have typically just used mplayer with ffmpeg. But that is not as easy as Handbrake.

For $10 you can get 'DVD Catalyst 3' which does exactly what you want. It will convert any DVD into iPad format.

I have only one DVD that has defeated Handbrake. Are you using the Windows version? I use it on my Macs.
