Ear buds

When I try to use there is no sound. There is no problem when they aren't connected. Used them months ago and they worked ??? I can't seem to find any info. on how to adjust it. Thanks. Joyce. iPad 2

Make sure the volume is turned up. The earphone volume is independent of the speaker volume. Even if you are playing through the speaker at max volume, the earphone volume can be muted, and you won't know until you plug them in.

Same place as the speaker . It auto-switches to controlling the earbuds instead when they're plugged in.
