I was at my local large chain grocery store, Meijers (not an endorsement) on Sunday, February 05. I usually wander over to the electronics section of the store where I sometimes find great bargains like flash usb drives or printer cartridges when I noticed all of Meijer's iPads were $70 off of list price on all models.
Not in the market for an iPad 2 but the thought did occur to me that such a sale pre-dated the sale of the iPad 2 last year when stores like Meijers and WalMart and Target started marking down their iPad inventory. Last year, this kind of markdown was in March 2011.
This may be an early confirmation of the pending iPad 3 offering in March?
