Educational/Productive Apps

Even though i'm a King i still have to go to school.
I was wondering if there were any apps that are good for class use?

I already have a few such as
- Coursenotes
- Iannotate
- Istudiez pro
- Action notes

Also, I like to read the news. I have pulse and that's good for
technology articles and fun articles such as reddit. However i'm looking for an app that has more serious news. Any suggestions?
