Email folders

I'm hoping someone can help me, I have an iPad and an iPhone, I use hotmail as my email account.

On my phone all my folders are there with all the emails within them but on my iPad only emails that I have put in the folders since having the iPad are there and no others, how can I sort this out?

Set it up as an Exchange account instead...

Lovely thank you BUT do I delete the hotmail one? Because I've set it up on both phone and pad gone back into it ad th exchange one isn't

So I went back into them both and the exchange one isn't there???
