Email Glitch

I have 2 emails in my inbox. I can delete one of them and when I try to delete the other one, the email program closes and puts both emails back into the inbox. I've rebooted. Any suggestions? Advice?

Are you using the POP or IMAP mail protocol? And, when you 'reboot' did you try to close the Mail app in the multitask bar too?

Stupid question but when I last synched my iPad, the inbox icons changed so that the trash can icon disappeard. Only the move to folder icon

Stupid question but when I last synched my iPad, the inbox icons changed so that the trash can icon disappeard. The move to folder icon replaced it and the only way I can delete an email from my inbox is to click on the move to folder icon and then select the trash. Any suggestions?

Have you tried deleting an email message to see if it shows back up?
Similar to how the drafts folder won't show either until you start a message and then hit cancel then select save draft.

Double click the home button and it will appear, touch and hold the mail app and you will get a small minus symbol in the top left hand corner, touch this and the app will shut down.

Thanks Arch. Tried that with no success. It seems to only happen with the same spam email whichni have unsubscribed to from my desktop. Can't get it deleted or moved. Whenever I click on it, it freezes up and closes the email program. I can still receive, send, and delete all other emails.

Are you trying to delete with a swipe on the message header in the message list? The swipe brings up a red delete button. (I always view mail in landscape view)
