Email Help

I bought my son's old iPad. I have my email set up and it works great. My only complaint is that when I enter a recipient's name to compose an email message, a name list pops up, with names of people that were apparently entered in the past by my son. I'd like to delete this list but can't figure out how to. I deleted everything out of the contacts app, but it didn't help.

It's a real problem - bottom line - you can't delete this list.

On the Mac there is a facility but, for whatever reason, it wasn't included on the iPad.

Good News - the list is of 'limited' length (time/number of emails) and eventually - OK, quite a long time later - these 'spurious' entries 'drop off' the end of the list.
