Email help

Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but it won't be the last.

I've now got to grips with itunes a little so I'm slowly working my way through various things.

I'm trying to sort out email on my ipad, so I click on my ipad under devices (in itunes), click on the info tab and scroll down to a check box next to 'sync mail accounts from'.

I check this box and expect to see our email accounts in the box below, but I get nothing. I'm using outlook and outlook is selected in the option box. What am I doing wrong?

I ask this as I have no idea how to set up the mail account manually on the ipad.

Please help!!!

it should sync your outlook accounts over to the ipad.

I have heard that itunes does not work with outlook 2010 64Bit.

1. Open Outlook 2007 and click Tools > Trust Center.

2. Under Categories, click Add-ins.

3. Under Details, look for iTunes add-in under Inactive Application Add-ins.

4. In the Manage box, click COM Add-ins, and then click Go.

5. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, select the iTunes sync add-in.

6. Click OK.
