Email problem

I All....I have encountered a problem with my IPAD3....I have two emails that I can't delete...I have deleted others as they came in but can't remove these two?
I went to my MAC and deleted them and then deleted them from trash as well but they are still hung up in my IPAD email. I have rebooted several times, no luck.
Any thoughts?

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars; select the account and turn Mail off. Open the Mail app to make sure the folders get deleted, then go back into settings and turn Mail back on.

Something corrupted in the email's file, most likely. Glad it worked for you.
