Email says loading but won't load

Hi all
My iPad in chennai says loading or sometimes unable to load from server. When it says loading it takes forever and eventually times out can anyone please help?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Is your Internet connection a good one? If it is slow this can happen, but try closing your app completely and see if this makes a difference. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly, let us know how you go.

Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately the iPad is in India with my father. I am told Internet speeds are slow there but the strange thing is emails show up without issues on a wireless laptop through the same wifi connection.

Check to see if there have been any updates for your router and also try a reset of it. The iPad could be running a newer technology for this than the laptop hence the need to download any updates for the router. Hope this helps.
