J. A. Super Moderator Staff member Apr 27, 2014 #2 Check the settings in Gmail through a browser. Look at your Gmail account settings there. If you access the account on your iPad, go to Desktop view after signing in and open settings. Do you use Gmail as POP or as IMAP account? IMAP is the better choice.
