I was texting with a friend and I wanted to send her a animated text and it when I clicked on the A it sent me to the App Store. I had no problem last night. Is this a glitch or did they change it over night. This the one in the green box, not the one from Facebook.

To use the special effects, you need to tap and hold on the upward pointing arrow and select from bubble or screen.

That’s not a glitch. The A in Messages is meant to take you to the App Store. If you take a close look, you'll notice that it’s the App Store's icon.
