error message

Each time I connect my Ipad2 to Itunes I get the following error screen:

Itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services.
Reconnect ot try again later.

Pressing OK allows me to continue without problem so it's not really an issue but it bugs me when i cannot find any explanation for it.

Anybody any ideas?

Which version of iTunes are you running?


Updating to the latest version may sort this problem out.

Thanks Kevin but I now on my third version of ITunes but it has never made a difference, it's been there since day one.

Not sure whether it's an ITune or Ipad problem. Not that bothered as I can clear it and all is OK.

I'm wondering if it isn't the way you have your sync set up for your contacts or maybe email if your sync that. I had a similar problem way back when I had input something wrong in sync'ing my contacts with outlook.

This seems to be a problem "around the 'Net." I found these two links at Apple Support that might provide some insight/guidance. The first one's long, with a lot of recommended solutions, the second was the first hit on my Google search and provided a solution [that makes sense - to me]:
