Why didn't anyone tell me how great this app is?! I absolutely love it for notes, things to remember, and I am also using it to build a database of recipes that I have found online. It is the best app I have found for the iPad so far, and what's more, it's free!

Remember to use tags from the start. Makes finding stuff so much easier once you begin to get a lot of notes.

I'm having trouble actually editing notes in evernote. I've used it extensively on my computers and have recently bought an iPad. Can't seem to add text to existing notes? Am I being stupid?

You can only append text to the end of rich text notes on the ipad. You can't edit, for example, web clippings created on the desktop on the iPad, but you can edit simple text notes. It is Evernote's one main limitation, but given how awesome it is, I can live with it.
