I'm still new. This is what I have done with Excel documents in my Dropbox. I think I've used this a few times--the app Cloudon.

Hi Metraman - I'm assuming that you want to place an Excel file onto the iPad and change it there - correct? If so, there are several 'office apps' that can accomplish that task - there has already been plenty of discussion on the forum, so a search may help.

But, just one suggestion is Numbers, i.e. an app from Apple's iWork suite - a $10 purchase that is Ipad's equivalent of Excel, i.e. will import & give you the choice of editing the files from Excel; NOW, keep in mind that this iPad app does not have the depth or features of MS's Excel nor Apple's desktop Numbers program - check out its features - may work for you!
