Facebook app disappeared

After last Facebook update it has disappeared! I have tried everything I can think of. It still says I have it but it will not open. Can't reload since it says it's still there. I am not that familiar with the iPad so can some one give me Really simple instructions as to what I can do. Many thanks!

Hi, welcome to iPF!

If something isn't working the way it should, restarting and resetting is what you can try first.

Restart: turn off your device, wait for a few minutes, turn it on again.
Reset: press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Telease both and let your iPad power up on it's own.
