how do i delete a private message after reading it? it only gives me option to archive,mark spam,or mark unread ??

It's a Facebook thing - or at least the way the app behaves. You can delete messages on the web version of Facebook, but, as far as I can tell, you can't from within the app.

Maybe a message to Facebook is in order? To ask them to add that functionality to the app? Other than that, I've got nothing. Sorry.
