Facetime for iPad2

Help! I can't seem to work FaceTime on iPad2, when I use it, it prompts "xxx s not available for FaceTime" even if both my friend and I have pre-agreed to connect.

FaceTime is a free service, but it only works over Wifi. If you try to connect via 3G, it gives an error message.

So if you wanted to video chat via 3G, then would have to use a different app, such as Yahoo messenger, or Vtok (for gmail video calling), or Skype.

Thanks. I know that FaceTime doesn't work on 3G but I was on WiFi when I tried to connect and it still prompted the same
message; until now, I can't connect to FaceTime. ;-(
