FB on Safari never loads complete

Has anyone experienced problems with Facebook on Safari?

Tapping on links is tricky and slow, searches are far from ideal, but mostly pages never finish loading.

Is FB waiting for chat to load? Is the only sensible explanation

Is there a way to optimize FB on iPad?

Safari doesn't cotten to all of FaceBooks' tricks.

Skyfire claims it does FaceBook better. I've never tried it. There are also half a dozen other browsers you can try. I've been hearing good things about iCab lately. Take a look here for more. iPad Apps/Games : iPad Web Browsers

Me, I use the app Social. Friendly Plus is currently the most talked about iPad apps for FaceBook. All of them keep one-upping each other, so it gets to be too much trouble to try and keep up.

Flipboard is kind of cool, but you can only read your news feed with it.


Update: Apparently my favorite Facebook app Social for the iPad is not longer available on the App Store. No idea why. Grumble.

If your iPad is jailbroken, use the free app FullForce to make the iPhone Facebook app make as if it's made for iPad. Much better than making it 2x.
