File manager for non JB Ipad?How to transfer a file from app to app?

Hello i would like to transfer a file i downloaded from my wifi HD from the DIsk manager App to the Mediaplayer App... i would need some sort of file manager of dedicated app to do so... any ideas? (i know i could stream directly from wifi but i want to save battery on the wifi HD)

off course without a computer....i know how to do that with itunes....!!!

It was not possible before iOS 8. It may become possible now, with iCloud Drive, but both apps will need to be updated to support it.

The interim workaround is to see if both apps support a cloud service like DropBox, and use it as a go-between.

Does your disk manager app have a Send to option? I know I can send a media file from Say Goodreader to nPlayer using this method.
