Files in keynote

It's easier to email them to yourself and collect them in the iPad's Mail app. Then you can use the 'Open in' facility to transfer them from from Mail to Keynote.

In Keynote, tap the plus sign like you are going to create a new docment, then coose the copy from iTunes option. You will see a list of all the files you transfered using iTunes. Select the one you want

Not working for me.

It's a two step process. First you copy the files to the iPad using File Sharing in iTunes, then you import the file into Keynote as described above.

As Tm said, most of the time it is easier to mail it to yourself and use the Open In option in Mail.
