Financial site web access

I have good Internet access via the iPad except for financial websites, including those where I have accounts; i.e. Banks, brokerage accounts. Service frequently denied with comment:" server has stopped responding". Sometimes told I have incorrect password which I know to be wrong. Frustratingly, no such problem with my nearby laptop using that same wireless network. Any guidance to improvement appreciated.
 
Have you updated the iPad to the new version os that fixes the problem?

Some sites also use Flash (which of course the iPad will not do) as a part of their account login so this definitely can be an issue.
