When I first got my iPad I had long (and I think) beautiful nails. I visited my nail shop often to get then done.
When I got the iPad, I found that tapping with the long nail usually did not trigger a response from the iPad. I had to use the finger pad, and because of the long nails it was difficult to tap accurately on small targets. Also, typing on the onscreen keyboard was difficult and slow because of the long nails. After a month of fighting it, I had my nails clipped short and stopped painting them. In short, the iPad forced me to give up my long nails that I had liked so much.
What sacrifices have you made for your iPad?
