Let me just say that until a week ago, I had never used an apple product...no iPod, no iPhone, and no iPad....no Macs for that matter. I was always a bit put off by the whole scene.
I won a contest in my company and was presented with either a new Motorola Xoom or an iPad 2. They would order me my choice of either. I'm a long time PC and Android OS guy, but I thought I would give the iPad a try, so I went to Best Buy and used both...wow. I had no idea what I was missing. I had heard a statement, I think from Jobs, that said, "it's not about the specs, it's about the experience."
That couldn't be more true. I am currently (anxiously) awaiting my iPad 2, which is slated to ship at the end of April. Sooooo long to wait, but I have a feeling it's worth it.
Anyway, please be patient with me. I'm a 40 year old newb with i-gear, but I think I'm going to like it on this side of the fence.
