folders on springboard?

I don't understand your question.

You can make folders by touching an app until it wiggles and then moving it over the top of another until a folder is created. You can then rename the folder or just leave it titled however it starts. With the icons still wiggling, you can then put any other app into the folder (up to 20, if I remember correctly).

Is that what you're asking or have I completely misunderstood your question?

Yeah that's exactly what i mean. I tried that but it didn't work, they just switched places. It's ios 5
