Frequent recharging

My Mini seems to run out of power more quickly than I thought it would. What factors could be contributing to this? Games? How often does the average Mini need recharging?

There are several factors that can affect battery life. Perhaps the biggest is screen brightness. Set it as low as is comfortable for the best battery performance.

Another is GPS. THat can be a battery killer. Make sure that if any of your apps are using it that you close them down and don't let them sit in the background chatting to satellites.

Battery life on the mini seems comparable to the iPad 2. That is to say, about 10 hours.

Thanks. My auto-lock wasn't functioning, so the Mini stayed on when I thought it was going off in a few minutes. Rebooting fixed that. I'll check the screen brightness as well.
