Frustrating iTunes Question

To all,

I found a song on iTunes that I wanted to download. I hit the wrong button and ended up downloading the whole album. Is there a way that I can get a refund on the album and keep the song that I wanted in the first place? Thanks.

When you get the invoice for the album, you’ll see two links: Write Review, and Report a Problem:

Select “Report a Problem”, and you’ll get to a site like this:

Another way is your purchase history in Settings:
Request a refund for an App Store or iTunes Store purchase

One of the choices in the drop down menu when you report the problem is “I would like to cancel this purchase”. This would be the whole album, in your case. You’d have to buy the song afterwards.
