Most of the Facebook games require the forbidden word, "FLASH," which is not supported on ipads.
There are several FB games that have separate apps that you can get from the app store. Some do not link to your current games on FB, but some do. Check it out.
Also, if you do a search regarding "games on facebook"-you are not alone regarding this inquiry. You will gain more understanding reading some of the previous posts listed.
