Getting Music of a non-jailbroken iPad

I'm not posing this in the hacking section because the iPad in question is not jailbroken. Mode, feel free to move this if it appropriate.

Also, the music that I am talking about was purchased legitimately—I am not condoning pirating.

On my non-jailbroken iPad, I have music that I got from ripping CDs. I need to get it off the iPad and onto a PC. Long story, but I don;t have the source CDs and am working with a new PC as the old one crashed.

Without jailbreaking, is there some utility that will let me get the music off? If I plug it into my PC, the only directory the Apple allows me to see is \var\mobile\media\dcim where the photos and videos are, but not the music.

There are several PC programs that allow you to transfer music from an iDevice to a computer. They appeared back in the day when the iPod first arrived and more keep showing up.

I've not used any so I've none to recommend, but maybe try a Google search for a program that will do what you want?
