Getting sound while playing YouTube

I bought ipad2 recently. When I play YouTube, I don't get the sound. How do you turn the sound on for video?
I do get sound for emails etc

Also, is it possible to turn on spell checker?

Sound is adjusted with blue bar on video or on the buttons.

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
