Getting WPA2 password to my pad...

Hi, first time posting. Just got my iPad and trying to get the WiFi connection working. The password to my personal connection is this 90 character security string, some of the characters can't even be found on the iPad keypad (for example, how do you type '`' ?.
I want to transfer the text of the password from my PC to the iPad so I can copy and paste it into the WiFi connection settings. How do I do this without a WiFi connection (I could do it through email if I had a security free connection... sort of defeats the purpose...)

thanks for any help.

Wow. Your personal connection has a 90 character security string? Surely that's either overkill or it's a corporate connection. Mines just 8 alphanumeric chars.

If it corporate ask the IT dept to do it for you or change your login.
If it's really a home connection change your password to fit the iPad keyboard and reduce it somewhat to a more manageable length.

Other than that just try emailing the missing from iPad keys and see if you could cut and paste them into your string in notepad.

I don't think you can have a 90 character long password. WPA2 password can use a maximum of 63 characters for password. If you use a password generator, you should limit it to alphanumeric string so you can enter it on you iPad. I personally use a random 63 character password.

Regardless, emailing doesn't work since she cant access internet until she's connected.

In that light you can go roundabout and set your pc as wifi hotspot ics and access internet long enough to get that mailed in code. Or see if you can sync it In via iTunes. I'm not sure how since I rarely connect to iTunes on pc
