I have read several articles stating that Google Assistant can be used on iPad. It won't even download to my ipad2.

No problem on iPhone, but not compatible with ipad2 ?

Looking at the description, it lists the iPad 2 Wi-Fi + cellular (and other cellular iPad modles). I'm gussing it does no work with wi-fi only devices.

Is you iPad wi-fi only?

UPDATE: never mind, I finally found what I needed.

For anyone who might wonder, the information I was refering to is the compatibilty section of the app's description. And for those that can't find the app when searching from the iPad, it's because it's not optimized for the iPad. It is an iPhone app that can be run on the iPad, but will show the iPhone's user interface. You have to choose iPhone Only after searching for the app before it will show in the App Store (unless you search from an iPhone, of coures).

I've noticed that Google Assistant isn't in the Canadian App Store.

It seems to be an app for the USA only, at the moment.
