Mashable reports that Google has today announced that it will soon be introducing new mobile editing capabilities for Google Docs on the iPad. The news from Google came as part of its introduction of a two-step verification process for Google Accounts. Google made the announcement on its blog, saying that within the next few weeks, co-workers all over the world will be able to edit files simultaneously from a wide variety of mobile devices, including the iPad. Google demonstrated the new Google Docs mobile editing capabilities at an event today in Paris called Google Atmosphere, which was dedicated to cloud computing. Doubtless they'll be offering up more information on the new features very soon.
"Only cloud computing is able to deliver the whole package of productivity-enhancing collaboration, superior reliability and virtually unlimited scale at a price that’s affordable for any size organization."
