Suddenly, I can't enter Google Search questions by typing them. It allows voice questions and puts the question on the screen but does not respond.

In Safari?

If you have not done so try restarting or reseting your iPad.

Restart by holding down the power button until you see the Slide Off, slide it off, wait until it finishes, the hold down the power button for three seconds to start.

Reset by holding down both the power and home buttons until you see the Apple Logo. The iPad will restart automatically.
