Got ipad from canada

For my birthday my uncle asked whAt do I want and I said a iPad 2 will do and he sent over a iPad 2 White 32gb wifi o ly because I didn't think 3G would work, I'm just wondering has anyone got an iPad from Canada or USA which is 3G and has it worked ?

If the iPad has come from the USA it has to be the AT&T model - the Verizon model from the US won't work in the UK. If it came from Canada, then only GSM versions are available there and all of them will work just fine in the UK.
