After apple’s recent chicago event unveiled no new ipad pro, nor details about one, I grabbed the 2017 version, an apple pencil and a nice case and I’m happy as a clam.

I’m very burnt out on using conventional computers which now seem dumb and awkward to use. This might sound harsh but..I’ve logged about 30 years in front of them, so I know of what I speak.

I have an android tablet which is nice enough, but they just don’t get it.

seems only apple not only gets it, but is defining and expanding what “it” is.

not lookin’ back...

Congratulations. I am hoping for WWDC to introduce a 3rd gen 12.9. I have a gen 1 with only 128GB—up until last week I wondered why I was so dumb to not buy more. Found out while researching for friend on 10.5 that the gen 1 only offered 128 and after 6 mos increased it to 256 GB and I’ll buy 512 this time (tho’ ia use cloud storage and also a wifi external drive)—but look forward to spec updates too. I rarely use my 15” Macbook Pro now—only to access my external drives for 19 years of photo files.

Congratulations! The iPad Pro is very special. I too find a traditional computer now dated and prefer to use my iPad even when in my office with iMac available.

The only real problem I have is some websites not working well on the iPad - I don’t know why. I guess those websites need updating and modernising?

Maybe those websites are heavy on Flash content. Flash will not work on any iOS device.

I don’t think it is Flash. There are certain sites that most things work on iPad, but something can’t be achieved. Such as just today on Facebook I cannot download a list of my data on iPad. It just freezes. So that has to wait until I am back on my iMac.

These are not enough that I want the hassle of carrying around a MacBook traveling, but sufficient that I must still use an iMac in the office to get everything done.
