Great music apps ?

Can anyone let me know of any great music apps for my iPad

Paid or free

My favourite is TuneIn - without doubt the undisputed champion Internet radio player. There's simply no competition - and, at the price, impossible to beat. Just read the reviews at the App Store and in this Forum.

TuneIn is, how they say, Awesome! For someone like me who seeks out unusual music, it's truly exemplary.

Hunter, a free app (I think), is quite good fun. It only plays short pieces but it's good for finding similar tunes based on those you like. Then you can search out the full length version on Youtube etc.

I am in agreement with all, TUNEIN AWESOME! And if I am not mistaken you don't need AOL radio or Iheart or any of the other apps. Someone agree with me on this? Please...

Just in case you meant apps with which to make music, Music Studio is the best by far.

Cheers,

Wellll I guess it all depends on what type of music apps you're looking for:
Music creating ~ GarageBand
Music listening ~ tunein
Music appreciation ~ on the way to Woodstock.... one of the coolest music apps....IMO

The music app RGBSOUND is highly innovative, it lets you create an electronic ryhtm in a very easy way with cool visual effects!!!!!

iRadio is amazing, its pretty much like satellite radio you can listen to any radio station from all over the world.

There are quite a few "soundtoys" free or lite versions. No need to be a musician, neither am I.

My favourite are

Mugician. Great for noise. Free & Wicked!

Soundrop. It's free, but I bought the upgrade just for fun.

RISCy. Also check Nick Collins other apps.

and finally a funny lil' synth: Sylo (as used by Gorillaz on their album The Fall)

There are many more and more pro and expensive. I will write some time in the future about them if you need more sonic toys in your iThing.

Cheers!

Mac Hip Hop - D-volution drum (also free)
