Hello everyone!

I just discovered the Forum while doing a Google search for an issue I'm encountering with the Newsstand Icon. I'm relatively new to Apple products - first one ever was an iPad2 I purchased last November. As I write this I now have the New iPad and an iPhone as well... I now fully understand how the addiction seems to develop (this coming from a former CrackBerry addict). I look forward to being a member of the Forum for years to come.

Not sure if I should post a different thread to ask if anyone can help me with that Newsstand issue (couldn't find an answer after doing a search), hope it's OK to do so here.

For approximately 2 weeks now the Newsstand icon on my New iPad shows the number 1 like an update is available. I've individually opened each magazine and/or newspaper inside the Newsstand several times, made sure each one is updated, and still the Newsstand icon displays a 1 like there is an update available.

Is there a way to reset the Newsstand icon so it stops displaying that 1? I guess I could live with it but seeing it every time I open the iPad makes me think there's something that needs updating and I end up clicking on everything inside to see if that 1 goes away!
