Hello from sunny So. Cal. I recently bought an iPad1 primarily for book reading and then surfing the interent without having to be in the back room where my computer is located. I am 74 and my wife and I are in the process of downsizing. I pretty much sold off my library of about 500 books and replacing them with the ipad. I have read books & articles off my computer for several years so I didn't expect any problems with the iPad. And in fact in most cases I would rather read off the iPad than a book.
My interest are all over the place first in the Bible, then science, history, economics, politics and biographies.
The problem I am working on now involves using a split screen to have two different books displayed at one time. The split screen apps I have come accros, Olive Tree and Logos, only work with books you have downloaded from them. I want to be able to use books in any of my libraries i.e. iBooks, Google, Kindle etc.
If anyone knows of such an qpp. plese let me know.
Look forward to an educational and enjoyable time on thie forum.
