gridlock

hi first post here..new to apple but i got my first ipad did the jailbreak yesterday and trying to buy my first cydia app which was gridlock..it says purchesed and installed but i cant move icons anyone know why?

I don't remember the final deails of Gridlock (it slowed my iPad down, so I removed it), but:

1) In Settings, does it have a button to enable it? If so, well, enable it...

2) Maybe you just need to respring ot reboot your iPad for it to take effect? Try that...

3) And sorry, but I have to throw this obvious one out there - have you (a) held the icons down until they wiggled and then (b) moved them? Again, it was a slow process for me to move around icons, maybe you have the same problems?

If none of that, I am out of ideas and would be sorry I couldn't help. Best of luck.

I didn't try n reboot..they just shoot back to where they where..didn't check settings I but I didn't remember seeing anything for that..

I tested it out this afternoon on iPad and it was working OK on 4.3.1. I have it on my phone at the moment (4.3.1) and it is also fine.
What else do you have installed that messes with the springboard?

Like I said im new to this...I don't know what springboard is...but besides gridllock I downloads 2 themes and the one that makes the lockscreen clock disappear that's all..maby I need to reboot ill do that when I get home.

Springboard is the IOS desktop. So gridlock allows you to arrange icons on the springboard. Hopefully a reboot will resolve it for you.
