Guitar jack adapter or external mic???

Not sure this is in the right forum location, but has anyone either built their own guitar input jack cable for ipad or found a reasonably priced commercially available one? Or does anyone have recommendations on reasonably priced external microphones that plug into the ipad? Any help is appreciated.

Hey....guys.....u may find from magic mic accessories as my accolade often used it so it might have been useful for u so just try once however i m not sure as not used myself.............so it may be.
