Hard Drive Access Question

I sometimes create HTML files that simply run off of my C drive on my computer. They don't require any internet connection. They simply display text and pictures and I can link from one to the other within the same directory structure.

I am wondering if there is any way to take those HTML files, load them up to my iPad, and view them from there (again, without any internet)? In the internet browser, I would type something like 'c:\testdir\test.html' instead of an internet website address.

Thanks in advance for any help.

No, there's no file architecture that you can link to via the browser. If you opened an app like QuickOffice and selected the html file, it would kick you into Safari (the default browser), but I don't think there's a way to get there directly.
