Mail / gif images

Can anyone help me, I can't seem to add gif images to my emails. What am I doing wrong? All I get is a small square or a lot of numbers and gobbledygook

Hello Duma.
I just tried for the first time to send an animated GIF via iPad email.
All I did was Copy/Paste the GIF into the body of the email.
The animated GIF appeared and was animated.
The GIF was animated when the email was sent then received.
Others may have more information for you.
