What's new

Hello Everyone

Hi, I'm from Nepal. I live in the capital city Kathmandu. Recently my daughter gifted me an iPad 2. I'm new to it, but I am learning and enjoying it. I had the same thought as Jan about anti-virus software for the iPad. Thanks to your (now mine as well :o) site I now know that it isn't required. There are several other queries I have, but for now I will restrict myself to asking only one:

How do you clear data that accumulates as a result of browsing the internet? Is it necessary to do that like on a PC? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

You can delete your History and cookies by going to Settings - Safari and delete here. If you'd like to see all the data saved go to Settings - Safari - Advanced - Website Data - show all sites and this is every site you have been to and deleting your History and cookies will delete all this and also clears ram too. Hope this is what you were after.
