Hello From Colorado/Keyboard Problem

I'm new, in Denver, and hope I'm posting in the right place! My keyboard is unstable. When writing an email or using Pages, I'll be in the middle of typing an email or using Pages and the keyboard will drop down and disappear. Anyone else have this problem? Again, I hope this is the right place to post this question. If it isn't, then please tell me where to ask this. My IPad is great!

I had this surprising problem early in my iPad experience.
What I eventually figured out was that the heel of my palm, accidentally came into contact with the keyboard hider in the bottom right of the sensitive screen, and "woosh" no keyboard!
Had to then tap an insertion point to get it back.
Once you know the cause, you will progressively modify your hand position to correct this problem.

You I though was my palm too. But that seem to be the problem. But with in mind, I'll watch what it do. Next time it happens I'll look to see where my palm is. Thanks for the information. I really like my IPad.
