I'm a bit slow using iPad, and forums, it seems. Took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to get a message to type out. But in the meantime, I found the answer to the issue I was having in using Dropbox with iPad. I guess I'll just stick to entertainment on iPad and use the MacBook for productivity. Fewer hoops to leap through to get things done.

Hi MissSelanius - welcome to the forum -

When I bought the iPad2 in the spring, the purchase was at the suggestion of my son and I was not that thrilled - OK, I could do games and some e-reading.

BUT, I must say that after 4 months or so, I've been using the device for many other purposes - the number of apps are amazingly variable and useful - as you use the iPad and explore its many options, your usefulness will likely expand beyond your initial thoughts - hope that you enjoy!
