Hello there iPader's, just got my iPad2 16gb wifi when the black Friday offer was on last week.

I'm a bit of an Appe fanboy with an iPhone 4s and macbookpro 17" and now ipad2.

After tips and tricks of using it and do you lot have any good suggestions of apps?

Hi there and welcome.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.......and please don't forget to read the rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/

Finally, if you still haven't had enough, how about a video explaining about our other forums (note:you may want to play this at half speed but hey, why shouldn't Phil be excited about our forums!)

Hello Gfrosty - welcome to the forum! :)

Concerning your question above, there really is NO easy answer - there are 10s of thousands of apps available on the App Store - at the least you must tell us what specific areas may interest you; also do some searching on the forum - there is already an abundant amount of information here. There are also plenty of magazine type publications that are just dedicated to the 'Best Apps' approach.

Finally you may want to check out an app called 'AppAdvise' - my son suggested it to me (does cost a little IIRC) - but he checks the 'news' daily; I've just started to use it - good luck and hope to see you posting -
