Help changing app names

I am new to IPad and would like some help.how can I change the app names or icons?

You cannot change them.

The only way you can change the app name or icons is if you have a jail broken iPad and have installed some tweaks from Cydia (the jail breaker's "AppStore"). Sorry.

Though you can change the names of your folders. In case that helps.

Tap and hold any icon or folder until they start to jiggle. Tap the folder you want to change the name on. When it's open the title is above. Tap on it and you will see a cursor. Edit to your content.

Press the Home Button when finished.
