Help needed

Hi all some months back I suffered a stroke and as such have forgotten a lot of things one of which being my Ipad password now I have tried to reset it but cannot because support are sending an email to an email address that no longer exists so what can I do? I can not reset to factory setting because I do not have a password and if I did I would lose all my emails so any help would be gratefully received
